At last – an update.
I wish I could see how the transformation looks like…
Jimmy basically looked like his lips vere eaten – thats why he was so scary… but I wonder what would it be for mustache man to die and to transform…
Oh… Bobby, I dont know was that answered before but do you think that transforming mustache man into a vampire would save him from turning into a zombie? Thats just a wild guess… Math is going to cut his head off just like that?

never ever ever punch in the mouth… those teeth are nasty disease laden areas of infection.. ..although the children might need to see what is going on .. they should tie up mustache man till he turns so the kids know what is going on … call it a science/biology .. make a class out of it .. turn it into a boring adult lecture type thing

Woo… Moustache Man gets a slow death… into undeath? Oh well… not so sure if Math would want to drink Moustache’s tainted blood… Jimmy’s mum had died before she was bitten (heart-attack), but he’s all tainted and transforming into a zombie. Oh well… will love to see what happens next.

Not Jimmy’s mum, Jimmy’s grandma (Murdo’s mum) is the one who had the heart attack. Jimmy’s mum (Murdo’s sister) was bitten by Jimmy and got all zombiefied.

I wonder if mustache man is crying because his actions led to the deaths of two people, or simply because he’s infected and dying. If he hadn’t been infected, I bet his speech would’ve been more along the lines of “Jimmy and his grandma were courageous and brave, their memory will be honored forever blah blah blah better them than me tee hee!” Of course, he’d probably just mutter that last part to himself or think it rather than say it aloud.

So, given the lack of a vote button for TopWebComics.com, and the lack of any response to the comments asking about it on the previous page, I’ll assume you don’t care about getting votes there anymore.
I love this comic, and I’ve been coming here every day and going back the up-to-4 pages to the last vote button even when there was no update; I won’t stop reading it! I’m just surprised at this because you are still collecting votes on Marry Me (another fave).

Hahah. This kinda reminds me of the T-Virus. “Itchy. Tasty.” Let’s just hope they have enough herbs up there…
Anyway, all silly references aside, I really like this story! This all is really well-done! I like how the art’s all black-and-white… or a sort of off-white, really, makes it feel like a classic thriller. Of course, the story, too, is much better and definitely more memorable than your usual zombie-story! Keep it up ^_^b

Do April’s breasts inflate from stress or something? They are going to get larger than her head at this point. When I look at her in the last panel, I am worried that her poor torso won’t support their weight anymore and she’ll fall down and be eaten by the zombies.

Wow I just went back and re-read this whole exchange, and I have to say it was a lot more intense than I remember it being! This is my first comment, well like ever. I love this comic, check for updates once a week. Up untill now I have never felt the need to post. All questions were either answered in comments or the story (usually the story Bobby) But I know you are making it into a movie. Are you going to keep to the look of the comic? Like Sin City only everything eccept important stuff is in sepia tone? Or will it be in full color? Just wondering. Ran the image of Last Blood in basically Black and White in my head because of Stuff Gal’s post. Thought it might be cool and wondered what you think.

If the bite of a zombie doesn’t affect a vampire, then why would feeding from an infected human have an effect?

The affect is simply that it does them no good. It doesn’t turn them into a zombie or anything — just doesn’t give them any sustenance, because it’s tainted blood — the blood stream is already being infected with the “virus,” even though the human isn’t yet a full zombie until 24 hours later.

I belive now that MM is infected, before he turns into a zombie, perhaps the vampires can use him to do some inside jobs, spying or acts of destruction, against zombies, since they might not touch him now that they can feel he is going to be a zombie himself.

I don’t think turning MM into a vampire would do any good for the group, because then there’s one more vampire that needs blood to survive. And there’s already a shortage of blood. So . . . that would seem rather silly, from a “good of the whole” point of good.

I’m wondering, if they eat up half your body before you turn, will you still turn?? And how come they stop eating so you can turn, this is the only inconsistency in the whole zombie thing…
